Game #1 - Ant Colony
- sounds like some kinds of education video game
- idea is pretty new.
- Not sure about the graphic yet because it didn't show on the powerpoint nor presentation
- I don't know will SIAT student would like to play this kind of video game. They might find the topic is interesting as educational factor.
Game #2 - Fins of Fury
- The idea is very similar to Finding Nemo
- The paperprotype is pretty simple, It's hard to test the real fun on paper prototyping when it is action game.
- Their art look's pretty good since it has 3D models, like the most outstanding one
Game #3 - The Adventure of water Element
- side scrolling action game
- new idea
- I am not sure how they can test the prototyping with Human Ai...because they have to act dumb.
- can't test out the actual mechanic because it is action game. Not a dice rowing game.
Game #4 - Untitled
- some kinds of action game with puzzle solving
- don't know the quality of the art work yet.
- Not sure about the combination of action game and puzzle solvling
Game #5 - 3rd Cloud:
- digital prototype,
- All the mechanics are not enough because there are only few examples.
- Art work seems pretty good
- it seems like an original idea.
- typical RPG game: walk around, pick up weapons, use them
Game #6 - Food Fight
- Just like battleship, but use Food and cafe as background
- their prototype is pretty much the game itself
- mechanics are very depends...some people like it, some people might feel boring because it is no different than battleship.
Game #7 - Drivethrough Tycoon
- There are a lot of game which is very similar to this game
- Needs more variation in the cars and food types.
- Maybe add more fun facter instead of just handing out the food (farm, marketing)
Game #8 - Circular Strife:
- Very unique way of presenting/testing the prototype.
- Design was well thought out and implemented.
- the idea is very common.
Game #9 - Stick Ninja:
- not sure about the game play
- Game design is pretty good: four levels and the boss bonus
- Random characters and random weapons to each level.
- The random attacks with the dice is pretty unique.
Game #10 - Zodiac War:
- The game play very common
- The graphic looks ok
- Can't really test the game play in their prototype because they was using turn based board game.
- The AI wasn’t working in their prototype(human act)
Game #11 - CrackQuest:
This was our presentation
Game #12 - Team Aquila:
- This team’s game was a turn based,
- just like AOE, Warcraft kinds of game.
- Two users would battle head to head controlling a small army.
- the users had to guess how much health that they have had.
Game #13 - Legend of Chopstick Chung:
- A series of minigames.
- hard to test all the game in the prototyping unless they create the game completely
Game #14 - Deep Field:
- Prototype was unique, people sitting in chairs coming towards the user who would hit their hands to deflect them.
- Can't test the AI because there were people playing as the AI.
- This was designed to mimic a bear in the middle who must deflect enemies coming towards him while trying to open the gates.
Game #15 - Synasty:
- No idea what is the game about
